We are an all-volunteer Board of Directors who have dedicated ourselves to protecting wildlife & the environment.
“Fortunately, nature is amazingly resilient: places we have destroyed, given time and help, can once again support life, and endangered species can be given a second chance. And there is a growing number of people, especially young people, who are aware of these problems and are fighting for the survival of our only home, planet Earth. We must all join that fight before it is too late.”
– English primatologist Jane Goodall on the threats of biodiversity.

Gopher tortoises are a keystone species of Southwest Florida, especially Cape Coral. Their (homes) burrows are critically endangered from all the new construction that is taking over. They are gentle creatures, and are adorable hatchlings.
If vacant lots are protected for their survival, nature's wildlife can be a bit protected from us humans! In addition, open protected landscapes will add to the beauty in Cape Coral. It's a Win-Win opportunity for residents, and the whole neighborhood!
